We believe in the timeless beauty and enduring quality of handcrafted pieces. Founded with a passion for design and a deep love for the natural world, our brand name is inspired by the enchanting stories of the Mabuya lizards from Jamaica, as told by our founder's grandmother. These tales of beauty and transformation are woven into every piece we create.

Our design process is inspired by the natural world, drawing on the intricate patterns and forms found in nature and animals. We primarily use recycled silver and gold to create our unique pieces. Our signature "Shoulder" signet ring, inspired by the transformative process of a lizard shedding its skin, embodies our commitment to beauty, craftsmanship, and transformation.

We only use 100% recycled precious metal when casting. We collect off-cuts and defective samples of metals for future reuse, enabling us to minimise waste and promote ethical and eco-friendly practices that align with our commitment to sustainability. We work closely with family run casters in London which is powered by renewable energy.

At Mabuya, we prioritise the ethical sourcing of our natural gemstones to minimise societal and environmental harm. Whether repurposed or sourced from trusted suppliers with traceable supply chains, our natural gemstones are conflict-free and responsibly mined so that you can wear your jewellery with pride.
